Clinical software · prescribing, patient records · 2026

Clinical software that sends the consultation home.

Two tools for nurse-led aesthetic clinics. Build a skincare routine or a costed treatment plan chair-side, then hand the patient a branded plan carrying their own name, their products and their prices.

01 · Brief

The plan leaves the room with the patient.

A consultation is the most considered work an aesthetic nurse does, and almost none of it survives the walk to the car park. The reasoning should go home with the patient.

The clinician assesses the skin, weighs the options against the person in front of them, and explains where they would start. The patient leaves holding nothing. Two days later the routine is half-remembered and the treatment plan is a number they are no longer sure of. The work was done well, and it simply had no way of leaving the room. Stoneglow Digital built the first version for The Glow Co Aesthetics, to a brief that was really that one sentence.

Scope

  • Product design and build
  • Skin and Face prescription engines
  • Per-clinic configuration
  • Multi-clinician accounts
  • Australian-hosted patient records
  • Team onboarding and training

What mattered

  • The plan leaves the room with the patient
  • Written chair-side rather than after hours
  • One standard across the whole team
  • Health information treated as health information

02 · Approach

Quietly, deliberately, in order.

01

We built the prescription as the product rather than as a report generated afterwards. The clinician taps through the clinic's own retail range or treatment menu during the consultation and the sheet assembles as they go, so nothing is retyped and nothing waits until the end of the day.

02

The Skin Prescription prints as a morning column and an evening column, each product pictured, with the amount to apply and when. Weekly extras, mineral makeup shades and the practitioner's notes sit alongside, and a QR code at the base routes re-orders to the clinic's own shop.

03

The Face Prescription works the other way round. Choose a treatment, tap the areas, and each shades onto a face diagram in that treatment's colour. Pricing, units and session counts print beside the map with the concerns raised in the room, and a booking QR code sits under the prescribing clinician's name.

04

Every clinic is configured rather than templated. The retail range, treatment menu, protocols, pricing, logo, colours and type are set per clinic, so what the patient carries out looks like it came from that practice.

03 · Selected screens

From the finished build.

The Face Prescription builder, with patient and practitioner fields above treatment rows carrying area selections, pricing and session counts.
